Child Safety Standards
Last updated: November 1, 2026
hugshot, published by Frédéric Dinand, has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These standards apply to everything shared on hugshot: hugshots, profile photos, comments, messages, Moments and notes.
1. What is prohibited
- Any content that sexualizes a minor, including CSAM, whether real, drawn or generated.
- Grooming: contacting or befriending a minor in order to sexually abuse or exploit them.
- Sextortion, trafficking, and any solicitation of sexual content from a minor.
- Sharing, requesting or linking to any of the above, including outside hugshot.
hugshot is not meant for children under 13. Users give their date of birth at sign-up, and accounts below the minimum age are not allowed.
2. How to report
In the app, you can report a hugshot, a comment, a message or an account from its menu, with “Report”, and block the account so neither of you can see or contact the other. You can also write directly to hi@vind.cool, with the username involved and a description of what you saw. Do not send us copies of abusive images.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
3. What we do
- We review every report within 24 hours, and CSAE reports first.
- We remove the content and permanently ban the accounts involved.
- We report CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to the relevant authorities, including PHAROS in France, and preserve the data they need for their investigation.
- We cooperate with law enforcement requests made under applicable law.
4. Compliance
hugshot complies with applicable child safety laws and regulations, and with the child safety policies of the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
